The Internship Role

The internship position should be fulfilled for a minimum of five months, thereafter an extension can be negotiated. If there is a vacancy within the team or a different team which the intern would be suitable to fulfill, a permanent job offer would be considered.

Objective of Role

The main occupation of the SEO Intern is to manage the day to day client specific needs, run high-level technical audits on large international websites. You will be responsible for supporting all SEO activities such as content strategy, link building and keyword strategy to increase rankings on all major search networks.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Execute tests, collect and analyse data, identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI in organic search campaigns
  • Track, report, and analyse website analytics and SEO initiatives and campaigns
  • Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimisation
  • Deploy an effective local and long-tail search strategy
  • Research and implement search engine optimisation recommendations
  • Research and analyse competitors in great detail
  • Work with development teams to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented
  • Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and optimisation
  • Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords.
