Who we are looking for

We are looking for an experienced project and service manager who wants to join our custom solution development team at Incubeta. In this role, you will be a part of a team of developers, consultants, and data scientists who deliver customized solutions to large clients such as Accor Hotels, Ferrero, and Qatar Airways.

What we do and how we work

We have a development team in The Netherlands and work remotely with team members from other countries. We also work closely with account managers and marketing consultants across the globe. In addition, we build custom B-to-B solutions that utilize the power of the Google Marketing Platform (GMP). One of the essential aspects of your work will be to manage these projects and the support we provide.

Purpose of the role

Our project and service manager aims to deliver custom client solutions on time and on quality that reflects our standards. He represents the Custom Client Solutions team and works as a service manager who engages trust both towards the team members and the account managers. We expect that you are:

  • Self-steering in the day-to-day work;
  • Punctual and precise;
  • Ask the questions needed to get the work done within the set times;
  • A good listener and collaborator;
  • Have good verbal and written communication in English;
  • Have strong problem-solving and logical thinking skills.

Domain knowledge

  • Experience in working with API-TO-API connections and B-to-B projects;
  • Data-driven mindset;
  • To understand the technical terminology and to have the confidence to lead Google Cloud development projects;
  • Average technical understanding of data manipulation and ETL operations (REST API, JSON, and XML formats);
  • A willingness to learn about technology in the Google Marketing Platform universe (DV360, CM360, etc.);
  • 3 years experience as Service Manager, IT Project manager, or equivalent role.

Responsibilities

  • Organises meetings with the account managers when they are looking for development solutions;
  • Help to scope the Custom Development projects and creates the Statement Of Work (SOW);
  • Keeps track of the functional requirements stated in the SOW and also non-functional requirements in the projects;
  • Manages the estimation process with the developer(s);
  • Calculates the costs of the project based on the resource need;
  • Schedule the development work based on the ongoing and future projects;
  • Responsible for the execution of the development and for communicating the development status to the account managers;
  • Makes sure that the project is running on time and to budget;
  • Makes sure the project delivers the expected outcomes;
  • Create and present regular reports to senior management;
  • Oversees team members performing inspections, preparing reports, and doing repairs; if necessary, carries out these job duties personally to ensure the highest quality of work;
  • Supervise other members of the service delivery team;
  • Owns the issues, regularly updates customers about the statuses.

Our Hiring Process

We have an initial interview first when one of our hiring managers takes you through our hiring process and where both you and we have the opportunity to make sure we have a cultural fit. We also will talk about your expectations regarding your salary, benefits, etc. In the second step, we give you a project management assignment that focuses on everyday problems you need to tackle in the future as our team member. Yes, it means we won't ask you to solve problems you will never face here in the future! :) After the assignment, we have a final interview to discuss your solution, and if everything goes fine, you will get an offer from us.
